The Challenge of Saturday

OK, I did it yesterday ... I got in 100 ounces of water before bed! I need to do that again today. The challenge: it's Saturday! I get so distracted doing things on Saturday that I don't pay attention to what I eat or drink. OK, mini game plan: consume 20 ounces of water before I walk out of the door for Rachel's shower in 35 minutes. I can do it!

    Do you have a game plan for AT the shower?? :o) They say (you know, the famous "they" who seem to know/say everything) that if you drink a bunch of water about 30 minutes for you're due to eat something, it will help you eat less b/c it takes up more space in your tummy....never quite works for me, but who knows, may work for you. LOL

  2. Thanks! Actually, the shower was GREAT! They served fruit and danishes. The danishes were cut into small portions, so I only ate one small portion of a danish and some fruit.

    I'm with you on water before a meal not necessarily helping me eat less. If food tastes good and is in front of me, I'm going to eat it! I do believe it helps me between meals though. If I'm chugging water, I'm not as tempted to snack.

  4. purchase a reusable bottle one that is like 60 ounces, keep it with you everywhere. I swear I got to the point where I didn't go anywhere without it and kept it at my desk at all times right infront of my face so I couldn't forget (and since being pregnant I am thirsty all the time I don't even go to the grocery store without water with me) you'll get so used to drinking that much that you'll eventually want to drink that much you're body will be to used to all the water.
